Nestle India Ltd fell for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 2172.9, down 1.22% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.45% on the day, quoting at 23317.15. The Sensex is at 77055.9, up 0.43%.Nestle India Ltd has eased around 1.36% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty FMCG index of which Nestle India Ltd is a constituent, has eased around 2.27% in last one month and is currently quoting at 55549.85, down 0.66% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 7.65 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 8.46 lakh shares in last one month.
The benchmark January futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 2176.5, down 0.94% on the day. Nestle India Ltd tumbled 14.56% in last one year as compared to a 8.09% rally in NIFTY and a 1.91% fall in the Nifty FMCG index.
The PE of the stock is 66.8 based on TTM earnings ending September 24.
