The benchmark NIFTY is down around 0.62% on the day, quoting at 23543.05. The Sensex is at 77705.65, down 0.57%. Nestle India Ltd has gained around 2.22% in last one month.
Meanwhile, Nifty FMCG index of which Nestle India Ltd is a constituent, has gained around 2.27% in last one month and is currently quoting at 56967.6, up 1.48% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 6.55 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 8.29 lakh shares in last one month.
The benchmark January futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 2272.1, up 2.51% on the day. Nestle India Ltd is down 12.2% in last one year as compared to a 8.9% jump in NIFTY and a 2.6% jump in the Nifty FMCG index.
