Shyam Metalics & Energy Ltd share price inched up 2.18% to Rs 1163.8 after the company's net profit surged by 45.69% to Rs 510.99 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 9.26% to Rs 5960.19 crore in Q3FY26 over Q2FY26.

Profit before tax (PBT) of Shyam Metalics & Energy Ltd stood at Rs 658.37 crore in Q3 FY26, surging by 89.68% year-on-year, and rallying 40.31% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 789 crore, jumping 67.74% YoY and easing 9.84% sequentially.
Total expenses saw a slight increase of 5.90% to Rs 5247.21 crore in Q3FY26 over Q3FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 4400.56 crore, inching up 4.42% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 145.86 crore, registering a growth of 7.55% YoY.
For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations jumped by 22.39% to Rs 18552.21 crore, while net profit expanded by 16.60% to Rs 1060.17 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 180488% to Rs 2129.43 crore, and PBT improved 17.82% to Rs 1462.37 crore compared to previous TTM.
The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 2023.56 crore in FY26, as against Rs 1964.15 crore in FY25.
Shyam Metalics & Energy Ltd rallied 28.33% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has reduced by 11.78% during the same period.
