Caplin Point Laboratories Ltd consolidated sales up 1.70% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit grew slightly 3.59%

Caplin Point Laboratories Ltd share price inched up 0.08% to Rs 2624.15 after the company's net profit saw a marginal increase of 3.59% to Rs 179.09 crore, while revenue from operations improved marginally 1.70% to Rs 610.36 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Pharmaceuticals industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 25.12 lakh crore, rising 4.42%. It has improved by 1.16% over last one week and advanced by 11.70% in last one month while the market capitalization of Caplin Point Laboratories Ltd has marginally improved by 3.18% and 29.71% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Caplin Point Laboratories Ltd stood at Rs 225.22 crore in Q2 FY26, rallying 22.10% year-on-year, and easing 5.52% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 180 crore, expanding by 16.37% YoY and gaining 2.30% sequentially. Total expenses posted a minor rise of 0.91% to Rs 418.5 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 107.06 crore, posting a minor increase of 4.85% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 54.13 crore, ticking higher by 2.87% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations grew 14.37% to Rs 1937.47 crore, while net profit rose by 17.27% to Rs 541.09 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 49602% to Rs 550.5 crore, and PBT rose 19.91% to Rs 676.78 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 432.37 crore in FY26, as against Rs 318.39 crore in FY25. Caplin Point Laboratories Ltd surged by 24.45% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 3.04% during the same period.
