Afcons Infrastructure Limited secures Rs 1,918 crore contract from BMC for Mumbai's desalinated water tunnel

Afcons Infrastructure Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for a design and construction project of a desalinated water conveyance tunnel in Mumbai, valued at Rs 1,918 crores, inclusive of GST and Operations & Maintenance (O&M). The project, which will run from Manori to Mahavir Nagar, is considered a critical step towards ensuring a sustainable water supply for Mumbai and represents a significant addition to Afcons' portfolio of hydro, water supply, and water tunnel projects both in India and internationally.
