Pranab Mukherjee to be sworn in as new President of India today

The former Union Finance Minister and President elect-Pranab Mukherjee will be sworn in as the 13th President of India today, 25 July 2012 at the Central hall of Parliament in New Delhi.

Pranab Mukherjee will be administered the oath of office by the Chief Justice of India-SH Kapadia in the presence of Vice President-Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister-Manmohan Singh, Lok Sabha Speaker-Meira Nair, UPA Chairperson-Sonia Gandhi and a host of Union Ministers, Governors, Chief Ministers and other dignitaries.
