Hazare and Ramdev have announced a series of agitations in favor of a strong Lokpal Bill.
Social activist Anna Hazare and yoga guru Baba Ramdev together have decided to sit on a one day fast on 3 June 2012 in demand for a strong Lokpal Bill.
Hazare and Ramdev, on Friday, 20 April 2012 announced a series of agitations in favor of a strong Lokpal Bill. On 1 May 2012, Anna Hazare will start his agitation from Shirdi and Baba Ramdev from Chhattisgarh. Both of them are also scheduled to go on a fast at the Jantar Mantar in Delhi on 3 June 2012.
Following the announcement of joint protest by Anna Hazare and Baba Ramdev, the team Anna faced a major rift as one of its core committee member-Maulana Shamoon Qasmi quitted the team claiming that the team was turning anti muslim day by day. However, Qasmi was accused for allegedly recording the proceedings of the team meeting that was held on Sunday, 22 April 2012.
