The counting of votes for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MSD) elections would take place from 8 am on Tuesday, 17 April 2012 and the results are expected by 3 pm.
The Delhi Municipal Civic elections for the first time witnessed a historic turnout of around 55% to 60% of voting on Sunday, 15 April 2012. The maximum voting (65%) was recorded in New Ashok Nagar in East Delhi and even South Delhi's Vasant Vihar, which was among the low turnout areas, witnessed 43% polling.
