The Minister of State for Shipping Mukul Roy is all set to replace Dinesh Trivedi as the Union Railway Minister. He is expected to take the oath of office and secrecy today, 20 March 2012.

After the resignation of Dinesh Trivedi on Sunday, 18 March 2012, the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh accepted Trinamool Congress Chief-Mamata Banerjee nominee Mukul Roy as the next Minister for Railways on Monday, 19 March 2012.
