The sixth phase of polling for Uttar Pradesh's 68 assembly constituencies began today, 28 February 2012 at 7 am amidst tight security and would continue till 5pm.

The polling is being held in 22137 polling stations spread across 13 districts-Saharanpur, Prabuddha Nagar, Meerut, Bagpath, Ghaziabad, Panchsheel Nagar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Muzaffarnagar, Mathura, Mahamayanagar and Agra.

More than 2.14 crore electorates are expected to seal the fate of 1103 candidates including 86 women in the fray in today's election.
