Sports Ministry Approves Participation of JUDO Team in JUDO Grand Slam

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has approved the participation of the Indian Judo team consisting of 5 members to participate in the Judo Grand Slam at Paris and training from 1 to 10 February 2012.

The team consist of one man-Navjot Chana, three women-T Kalpana Devi, Kh. Tombi Devi, Garima Choudhary and a coach-J.G. Sharma. The team will leave from Delhi on 1 February 2012. The ministry stated that the air travel has to be booked through Government authorized travel agency and has also sanctioned the financial aspects including boarding and lodging to the team.
