String Metaverse Ltd share price fell 5% to Rs 6.84. The Company's net profit inched up 7.96% to Rs 39.86 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 4.55% to Rs 410.26 crore in Q2FY27 over Q2FY26.
The market capitalization of IT Enabled Services industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 2.8 lakh crore, easing 2.68%. It has improved by 0.76% over last one week and moved up slightly by 0.63% in last one month while the market capitalization of String Metaverse Ltd has marginally improved by 4.74% and 1.23% in the same period respectively.
Profit before tax (PBT) of String Metaverse Ltd stood at Rs 40.03 crore in Q2 FY27, expanding by 83.79% year-on-year, and rising 8.48% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 47 crore, rallying 93.58% YoY and gaining 7.30% sequentially.
Total expenses saw a slight increase of 4.18% to Rs 370.25 crore in Q2FY27 over Q2FY26. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 1.51 crore, rising by 7.86% YoY.
For FY26, revenue from operations surged 162.45% to Rs 1069.11 crore, while net profit saw a strong growth of 190.87% to Rs 102.53 crore, compared to previous FY. EBITDA surged by 5071% to Rs 107.01 crore, and PBT soared 192.90% to Rs 103.51 crore compared to previous FY.
The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 143.93 crore in FY26, as against Rs 49.33 crore in FY25.
String Metaverse Ltd tumbled by 68.23% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 4.80% during the same period.
