Fortis Healthcare Ltd share price ticked higher by 3.68% to Rs 820.0 after the company's net profit rose by 17.47% to Rs 320.47 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 7.46% to Rs 2734.83 crore in Q3FY26 over Q2FY26.
The market capitalization of Hospital industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 6.82 lakh crore, gaining 8.72%. It has inched up 4.19% over last one week and dipped slightly by 7.60% in last one month while the market capitalization of Fortis Healthcare Ltd has marginally improved by 6.52% and 14.58% in the same period respectively.
Profit before tax (PBT) of Fortis Healthcare Ltd stood at Rs 432.31 crore in Q3 FY26, rising 1.62% year-on-year, and rallying 19.03% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 616 crore, surging by 15.50% YoY and expanding by 17.95% sequentially.
Total expenses grew marginally by 5.17% to Rs 2239.97 crore in Q3FY26 over Q3FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 600.79 crore, posting a minor increase of 2.60% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 408.97 crore, ticking higher by 1.12% YoY.
For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations advanced 17.28% to Rs 9127.84 crore, while net profit jumped 31.48% to Rs 1064.19 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA soared by 158382% to Rs 2034.32 crore, and PBT surged 35.63% to Rs 1365.85 crore compared to previous TTM.
The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 1601.46 crore in FY26, as against Rs 1423.93 crore in FY25.
Fortis Healthcare Ltd tumbled by 18.84% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 4.80% during the same period.
