The Nifty November 2026 futures was at 23,780 , a discount of 30.85 points compared with the Nifty's closing of 23,810.85 in the cash market.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index jumped 370.05 points or 1.58% to settle at 23,810.85.
The NSE's India VIX, a gauge of market's expectation of volatility over the near term, moved higher 1.44% at 15.72
On the options front, maximum call open interest (OI) of 94181.0 contracts was seen at the 23850 strike price. Maximum put OI of 1.21 lakh contracts was seen at 23700 strike price.
