Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd share price ticked higher by 1.57% to Rs 264.5 after the company's net profit grew slightly 7.44% to Rs 3866.16 crore, while revenue from operations improved marginally 2.78% to Rs 11816.22 crore in Q3FY26 over Q2FY26.
The market capitalization of Power - Transmission industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 2.95 lakh crore, slipping 5.45%. It has improved by 6.35% over last one week and eased lower by 4.21% in last one month while the market capitalization of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd has inched up 7.26% and 6.37% in the same period respectively.
Profit before tax (PBT) of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd stood at Rs 4662.58 crore in Q3 FY26, easing 6.08% year-on-year, and gaining 4.05% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 9481 crore, rising 6.30% YoY and rising 1.55% sequentially.
Total expenses saw a slight increase of 3.99% to Rs 5291.75 crore in Q3FY26 over Q3FY25. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 703.89 crore, inching up 4.48% YoY.
For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations posted a slight growth of 2.05% to Rs 46732.87 crore, while net profit saw a strong growth of 22.68% to Rs 18702.34 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 3752284% to Rs 37027.51 crore, and PBT slipped by 8.92% to Rs 17321.03 crore compared to previous TTM.
The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 40930.58 crore in FY26, as against Rs 36221.82 crore in FY25.
Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd tumbled by 9.28% in last one year, outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has declined by 11.78% during the same period.
