IREDA appoints Jatin Kumar Nayak as Chairman & Managing Director, effective October 30

Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited announced that Shri Jatin Kumar Nayak has been appointed as Chairman & Managing Director, effective October 30, 2026, by order of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, with a term until September 30, 2029, or until further orders. Nayak, who holds a master’s degree in commerce and is a fellow member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India, previously served as Executive Director (Finance) at REC Limited. Concurrently, Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty has ceased to hold the additional charge of CMD, IREDA, also effective October 30, 2026.
