Anantam Highways Trust approved a distribution of INR 2.75 per unit for the quarter, bringing cumulative distributions to INR 10.25, and reaffirmed a commitment to a “rising trajectory” of distributions going forward. Management stated the deferral of a rights of first offer (ROFO) asset acquisition was not due to regulatory concerns but rather a strategic decision based on timing and valuation, while remaining open to future accretive acquisitions. The InvIT is also actively considering the sale of its sponsors’ stake to broaden the investor base and increase liquidity, with action anticipated within the next six to twelve months. Addressing concerns about low trading liquidity, management said it is in discussions with investors and bankers to improve the situation.
