Federal Bank appoints Rajesh Varrier as Additional Director for three years

The Federal Bank Limited announced the appointment of Mr. Rajesh Varrier (DIN: 00105765) as an Additional Director (Non – Executive Independent Director) to its board, effective October 16, 2026, for a period of three consecutive years, following recommendations from the Nomination, Remuneration, Ethics and Compensation Committee and in accordance with the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 and the Reserve Bank of India (Commercial Banks - Governance) Directions, 2025; shareholder approval will be sought within three months or at the next general meeting, and Mr. Varrier is currently Cognizant’s President, Global Operations, and Chairman & Managing Director of Cognizant India.
