Bharat Seats shareholders approve Maruti Suzuki director nominations and borrowing enhancements

Bharat Seats Limited announced that its shareholders approved the appointment of Mr. Vipin Garg, as a Nominee Director of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, and Mr. Arvind Kapur as an Independent and Non-Executive Director, following a postal ballot process concluded on October 9, 2026. Mr. Garg, aged 54, is currently heading the Quality Assurance Vertical and the Rohtak R&D Centre at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, while Mr. Kapur, aged 76, is the Promoter, Chairman, and Managing Director of Rico Auto Industries Limited. The company also disclosed enhancements to its borrowing powers and the creation of charges on its properties.
