Force Motors seeks shareholder approval to lift transferability restrictions on shares allotted in 1976
01-Oct-2026, 10:10

Force Motors Limited will hold an Extraordinary General Meeting on Monday, October 26, 2026, at 3:00 PM (IST) via video conferencing to seek approval from “A” Equity Shareholders to remove restrictions on the transferability of their shares. Approximately 27,600 “A” Equity Shares, originally allotted to employees in 1976, are subject to these restrictions, which have limited their transferability even after employees leave the company. The company, which has previously attempted to address the issue through regulatory channels, believes removing these restrictions, in line with the Companies Act of 2013, would benefit shareholders. The Board recommends approval of the resolution, and the full notice for the meeting is available on the company’s website.
