Shambhu Lal and Barun Singh Thakur take charge at Canara Bank in key leadership roles

Canara Bank informed the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange that Shambhu Lal has taken charge as Chief General Manager of the Human Resources Wing, replacing B P Jatav who retired on October 1, 2026, while Barun Singh Thakur has been promoted to Chief General Manager of the Inspection Wing, effective October 1, 2026.
