East India Drums establishes EIDB Ceylon in Sri Lanka with Rs 800 initial investment

East India Drums and Barrels Manufacturing Limited has incorporated an overseas subsidiary, EIDB Ceylon Private Limited, in Sri Lanka on September 28, 2026, holding 80% of its equity share capital, according to a regulatory filing. The newly incorporated entity, which constitutes a related party transaction due to the indirect interest of the promoter group through their shareholding in East India Drums and Barrels Manufacturing Limited, will undertake the manufacturing of drums and barrels and is aligned with the company's existing line of business, with an initial investment of Rs 800.
