Ashoka Buildcon acquires Sakoli Power Transmission from REC for Rs 3.06 crore

Ashoka Buildcon Limited announced it has acquired 100% equity stake in Sakoli Power Transmission Limited, a special purpose vehicle previously owned by REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited, for a total consideration of Rs 3.06 crore. The acquisition, completed on September 23, 2026, was a condition of a Letter of Intent received August 13, 2026, for a project to establish a 400/220/132 kV AIS Sakoli substation and associated transmission lines, and approval has been received from the Ministry of Power for the share transfer.
