Borosil Scientific to build Gujarat facility, boosting glassware production capacity

Borosil Scientific Limited announced September 22, 2026, that its board approved a proposal to expand production capacity for glassware products by establishing an additional manufacturing facility in Bharuch, Gujarat, increasing capacity from approximately 15 lakh units per annum to approximately 108 lakh units per annum, with commercial production expected to begin by March 2027, requiring an estimated capital expenditure of Rs 60 crore to be financed through internal accruals and/or borrowings, in response to growing demand from Borosil Limited.
