DMR Engineering Limited rises 9.97% after securing Rs 70 crore joint venture for Arunachal Pradesh hydro project

DMR Engineering Ltd. shares jump 9.97% to Rs 31.32, building on recent momentum and showing a 9.97% gain over the last week.

DMR Engineering Limited has received a Letter of Award to form a joint venture with Shri Balaji Hydro Construction Private Limited for the execution of Package - I of the 24.60 MW Kamlang Small Hydro Electric Project in Arunachal Pradesh. Under the joint venture agreement, DMR Engineering Limited will hold a 51% equity and profit share, while Shri Balaji Hydro Construction Private Limited will hold the remaining 49%, with the contract valued at Rs 70 Crore exclusive of GST and a tenure of 780 days. The order was awarded by Arun Shakti Energy Private Limited.

Trading volume reached 33150 shares today, a substantial increase of 750.0% compared to the average volume over the last one week. DMR Engineering Ltd. declined by 42.72% year-over-year, underperforming the 8.13% loss registered by the NIFTY50 index.
