Highway Infrastructure Limited announced it has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority on September 16, 2026, for the collection of user fees and operation of toll plazas along with deployment of four patrol-cum-safety vehicles on the Gorakhpur Link Expressway. The contract, valued at a total of Rs 220,66,33,332 (Rupees Two Hundred and Twenty Crore Sixty Six Lakh Thirty Three Thousand Three Hundred Thirty Two only), includes Rs 105,07,77,777 (Rupees One Hundred and Five Crore Seven Lakh Seventy Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy Seven only) for the first year, with a 10% annual escalation thereafter, and will be executed over a two-year period.
