Sigachi Industries seeks approval to raise funds for facility expansions in Gujarat and Raichur

Sigachi Industries Limited issued a corrigendum to the notice of its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) scheduled for September 15, 2026, following suggestions from the BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited. The company seeks in-principle approval for the issuance of 11,00,00,000 convertible warrants at a price of Rs 26.40 each, intending to utilize Rs 290.40 crore for expanding Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC) production in Dahej, Gujarat, establishing a Croscarmellose Sodium (CCS) facility in Dahej, expanding Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) manufacturing in Raichur, and for working capital and general corporate purposes. The company has appointed Care Ratings Limited as the monitoring agency for the utilization of the preferential issue proceeds.
