Ceejay Finance seeks shareholder approval for Rs 20,000 Lakhs in related party transactions

CEEJAY FINANCE LIMITED, based in Nadiad, announced on August 14, 2026, that it will seek shareholder approval for Rs 20,000 Lakhs in related party transactions involving Ceejay Microfin Limited, Ceejay Tobacco Limited, and the Chhotabhai Jethabhai Patel Charitable Trust. These transactions include intercorporate deposits ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 15,000 Lakhs with interest rates between 5% and 12%, loans with a 20-year tenure and 10%-12% interest, and a Rs 50 Lakhs donation to the charitable trust. Shareholders will also vote on a special resolution to reappoint Deepak Patel as Managing Director for a five-year term, beginning September 1, 2026. Mr. Patel, who holds 7,285 shares in the company, brings over 35 years of experience in finance and related fields and is related to the Chairman and another director; related parties are excluded from voting on these resolutions.
