Kuantum Papers Limited has approved the allotment of 10,000 unlisted, unrated, senior, secured, redeemable, non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis, aggregating to Rs 100 crore, with a face value of Rs 1,00,000 each. The NCDs carry a coupon rate of 9.70% per annum, payable monthly, and a redemption premium of 3.00% per annum, accruing monthly, with a maturity date of June 2, 2030. The debentures are secured by a charge over the company's current assets, movable fixed assets, personal guarantees, a shortfall undertaking, and a lien-marked fixed deposit, and will not be listed on any stock exchange. The board’s decision follows a meeting of the company’s Finance Committee on September 3, 2026, acting under delegated authority from the Board of Directors.
