Sea TV Network Limited to close cable business, surrender DAS license to Ministry

Sea TV Network Limited informed the Bombay Stock Exchange on September 3, 2026, that its board approved the closure of the company’s cable business operations and the surrender of its Digital Addressable System (DAS) license granted by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, with the license renewed on January 30, 2025, and valid until May 29, 2034, citing commercial non-viability and increasing operational challenges, with the closure expected to be completed by December 31, 2026.
