Tilaknagar Industries invests INR 22 crore for a 30% stake in Black Tiger Distilleries

Tilaknagar Industries Ltd. announced that its finance committee approved an investment of INR 22 crore in Black Tiger Distilleries Private Limited, a tequila and agave spirits company, for a 30.0% stake on a fully diluted basis. The investment will be made in two tranches, with the first tranche of INR 5.99 crore to be completed by October 31, 2026, and the second tranche of INR 15.99 crore by October 31, 2027. BTD was founded by Mohnish Mehta and has a presence through Bodega Suprema No. 5, operating in partnership with Productos Finos de Agave, S.A. de C.V.
