Essar Shipping FZCO to sell Mobile Offshore Semi-Submersible Drilling Rig Essar WildCat

Essar Shipping Limited announced that its board approved the appointment of Subramanian Raman as an additional non-executive independent director and the re-appointment of Suresh Ramamirtham as a non-executive independent director, both effective September 1, 2026, subject to shareholder approval. The board also approved the sale of the Mobile Offshore Semi-Submersible Drilling Rig Essar WildCat, owned by its wholly-owned subsidiary Essar Shipping FZCO, Dubai, with an expected completion date of March 31, 2027. Additionally, Jayakumar will cease to be an independent director with effect from August 31, 2026, following the completion of his five-year term.
