NMDC Limited announced provisional production and sales figures for iron ore for the month and period ending August 2026, reporting a total monthly production of 4.07 MT, up from 3.37 MT in August 2025, and cumulative production of 23.23 MT compared to 18.45 MT for the same period last year. Sales for August 2026 reached 3.58 MT, a rise from 3.39 MT in August 2025, with cumulative sales totaling 18.72 MT, up from 18.37 MT in the corresponding period of the previous year. Production from Chhattisgarh totaled 2.64 MT in August 2026 and 16.42 MT cumulatively, while Karnataka contributed 1.43 MT for the month and 6.81 MT cumulatively.
