Virat Industries seeks shareholder approval for a transaction at an upcoming EGM

Virat Industries Limited announced that its board of directors approved a notice convening an Extraordinary General Meeting of its members to be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026, to seek approval for a proposed transaction, according to a regulatory filing with the BSE Limited on September 1, 2026. Vishal Dewang, Practicing Company Secretaries, has been appointed as Scrutinizer for the e-voting process, and the Notice of the EGM, together with the Explanatory Statement, will be circulated to the Members of the Company.
