Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Limited announced that Sanjeev Nautiyal, its Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, will retire early with a three-month notice period, effective September 1, 2026, due to health issues. The bank’s board approved Nautiyal’s request and has appointed Carol Furtado, the current Executive Director, as the acting MD & CEO, effective immediately and subject to Reserve Bank of India approval. The board will initiate a process to identify a successor and submit a recommendation to the Reserve Bank of India.
