Waaree Energies consolidates Gujarat facilities, invests $37 million in Arizona expansion

Waaree Energies Ltd. approved the consolidation of its Tumb and Nandigram manufacturing facilities into its Chikhli, Gujarat facility. The company also authorized a US$37 million capital expenditure for its wholly-owned subsidiary, Waaree Solar Americas Inc., to revamp its Arizona, USA manufacturing facility, increasing capacity from 1 to 1.6 GW and bringing the company's total U.S. manufacturing capacity to 4.8 GW. Additionally, the board appointed Mona Bhide as an additional non-executive independent director, subject to shareholder approval, while Richa Goyal will cease to be an independent director following the completion of her term on August 29, 2026.
