Japanese Stocks boosted by strong tech demand

Japanese stocks rose on Friday, thanks to strong support from Wall Street after Nvidia’s positive sales outlook increased confidence in AI demand. The Nikkei 225 increased by 0.41% to 66,405, and the Topix climbed 0.72% to 4,147. Japan's unemployment rate dropped to 2.4% in July, the lowest in a year, while Tokyo's inflation rate reached a five-month high in August. Technology stocks performed well, with Advantest up 1.9%, Taiyo Yuden rising 3.9%, and Terra Drone jumping 12.4%. Mizuho Bank is suing Radiant World for alleged falsified documents, and Toyota struggled with declining vehicle sales for six months.
