Power Grid Corporation acquired Fatehgarh II Transmission for Rs 19.11 crore via competitive bidding

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has acquired Fatehgarh II Transmission Limited for approximately Rs 19.11 crore, including 10,000 equity shares at par, under a Tariff Based Competitive Bidding process to establish an inter-state transmission system for the installation of two synchronous condensers at Fatehgarh-II PS, according to a regulatory filing on August 28, 2026; Fatehgarh II Transmission Limited was incorporated on May 6, 2026, by PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL) and is engaged in the transmission of power, a business consistent with Power Grid Corporation of India Limited's operations.
