Larsen & Toubro Ltd. remains at Rs 4080.8, with the stock having risen 0.41% over the last one week. Larsen & Toubro’s Renewables business has secured a major order to develop three Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in the Middle East, contributing a collective 6 gigawatt-hour of storage capacity. The projects, which include grid interconnections and pooling substations, will utilize a 4-hour BESS each and incorporate liquid cooling technology, supporting grid stability and renewable energy integration. Larsen & Toubro, a USD 32 billion Indian multinational, classified the order as "major," falling within the Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,500 crore range, and highlights the company's position as a key EPC player in the expanding energy storage sector. Trading volume reached 2.05 lakh shares today, a decrease of 84.87% compared to the one-week average volume. Larsen & Toubro Ltd. edged up by 13.26% year-over-year, outperforming the 3.0% loss registered by the NIFTY50 index.
