New Delhi Television acquires GoodTimes channel from Lifestyle & Media for up to Rs 18 crore

New Delhi Television Limited has entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement with Lifestyle & Media Broadcasting Limited to acquire the business undertaking comprising the “GoodTimes” channel, for a lumpsum consideration of up to Rs 18 crore on a cash free debt free basis. The acquisition, which is expected to be completed within approximately three months, is subject to approval from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and other regulatory approvals, and will strengthen New Delhi Television Limited’s strategic positioning. Lifestyle & Media Broadcasting Limited is a joint venture of New Delhi Television Limited, and the transaction will be undertaken on an arm’s length basis.
