Borosil Ltd consolidated sales down 10.75% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit jumped 20.87%

Borosil Ltd share price slipped 2.13% to Rs 238.45 after the company's net profit saw a strong growth of 20.87% to Rs 12.8 crore, while revenue from operations declined 10.75% to Rs 253.59 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Houseware industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 17555.07 crore, falling 13.02%. It has inched up 0.11% over last one week and edged lower by 0.32% in last one month while the market capitalization of Borosil Ltd has slipped by 1.57% and 5.04% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Borosil Ltd stood at Rs 17.44 crore in Q2 FY26, tanking 25.72% year-on-year, and expanding by 18.16% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 28 crore, rising 1.02% YoY and rallying 23.28% sequentially. Total expenses dropped by 12.35% to Rs 240.98 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 21.39 crore, soaring by 22.72% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 33.12 crore, slipping by 2.53% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations grew 16.79% to Rs 1107.77 crore, while net profit registered a growth of 12.69% to Rs 74.23 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA soared by 15358% to Rs 143.03 crore, and PBT expanded by 17.56% to Rs 103.25 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 19.33 crore in FY26, as against Rs 48.03 crore in FY25. Borosil Ltd plunged by 27.28% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 3.05% during the same period.
