Voltas Ltd consolidated sales down 4.55% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit soared by 87.57%

Voltas Ltd share price inched up 0.25% to Rs 1288.7 after the company's net profit saw a strong growth of 87.57% to Rs 212.76 crore, while revenue from operations eased by 4.55% to Rs 4623.3 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Household Appliances industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 3.06 lakh crore, slipping 1.11%. It has softened by 0.58% over last one week and eased lower by 2.54% in last one month while the market capitalization of Voltas Ltd has improved by 0.47% and 4.68% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Voltas Ltd stood at Rs 285.46 crore in Q2 FY26, jumping 40.81% year-on-year, and rallying 54.72% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 174 crore, surging by 80.68% YoY and declining 2.11% sequentially. Total expenses slightly declined by 5.51% to Rs 4429.29 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 2270.86 crore, falling by 13.83% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 258.15 crore, inching up 6.37% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations declined slightly by 7.82% to Rs 14122.99 crore, while net profit tanked by 55.65% to Rs 370.0 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 81304% to Rs 408.75 crore, and PBT plunged by 53.21% to Rs 557.11 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 70.97 crore in FY26, as against Rs 225.15 crore in FY25. Voltas Ltd gained 0.97% in last one year, outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 3.05% during the same period.
