Tarmat Ltd consolidated sales down 15.66% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit tanked by 48.31%

Tarmat Ltd share price jumped 17.87% to Rs 64.83. The Company's net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 48.31% to Rs 1.53 crore, while revenue from operations declined 15.66% to Rs 35.81 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Civil Construction industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 9.26 lakh crore, tumbling by 17.89%. It has slipped by 0.59% over last one week and ticked higher by 0.56% in last one month while the market capitalization of Tarmat Ltd has significantly gained 24.33% and 28.15% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Tarmat Ltd stood at Rs 1.9 crore in Q2 FY26, jumping 196.87% year-on-year, and nosediving by 28.57% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 2 crore, rallying 126.42% YoY and slipping 4.38% sequentially. Total expenses reduced by 15.70% to Rs 33.66 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 14.04 crore, contracting by 16.78% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 3.79 crore, easing 0.53% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations advanced 13.35% to Rs 101.28 crore, while net profit tumbled by 265.49% to Rs 1.87 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA soared by 146% to Rs 1.73 crore, and PBT plunged by 243.65% to Rs 1.81 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 9.16 crore in FY26, as against Rs 3.2 crore in FY25. Tarmat Ltd rallied 17.55% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 3.05% during the same period.
