Semac Construction Ltd consolidated sales down 59.37% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit tumbled by 91.19%

Semac Construction Ltd share price inched up 1.54% to Rs 319.0. The Company's net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 91.19% to Rs 0.4 crore, while revenue from operations dropped sharply 59.37% to Rs 30.42 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Civil Construction industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 9.26 lakh crore, tanking 17.89%. EBITDA came in at Rs 1 crore, rallying 77.55% YoY and nosediving by 125.14% sequentially. Total expenses plunged by 57.79% to Rs 30.01 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 20.97 crore, plunging by 65.18% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 6.18 crore, inching up 2.32% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations soared by 35.57% to Rs 172.84 crore, while net profit tanked by 81.69% to Rs 5.84 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA saw a sharp decline of 4120% to Rs 8.52 crore, and PBT collapsed by 77.54% to Rs 7.35 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 2.69 crore in FY26, as against Rs 18.64 crore in FY25. Semac Construction Ltd crashed 39.84% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 3.05% during the same period.
