Kama Holdings Ltd consolidated sales up 8.87% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit surged by 30.39%

Kama Holdings Ltd share price slipped 0.87% to Rs 2468.85. The Company's net profit soared by 30.39% to Rs 761.5 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 8.87% to Rs 5070.88 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Holding Company industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 4.46 lakh crore, slipping 0.40%. It has inched up 1.60% over last one week and rallied by 15.10% in last one month while the market capitalization of Kama Holdings Ltd has softened by 1.25% and 5.78% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Kama Holdings Ltd stood at Rs 983.1 crore in Q2 FY26, rallying 68.45% year-on-year, and expanding by 29.27% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 966 crore, jumping 26.33% YoY and declining 1.66% sequentially. Total expenses saw a slight increase of 5.49% to Rs 4103.44 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 2626.2 crore, surging by 23.11% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 328.49 crore, inching up 1.44% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations inched higher 7.43% to Rs 15929.77 crore, while net profit jumped 47.03% to Rs 1844.42 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 242621% to Rs 3170.48 crore, and PBT surged 35.03% to Rs 2319.37 crore compared to previous TTM. Kama Holdings Ltd plunged by 16.73% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 3.05% during the same period.
