Balmer Lawrie Investment Ltd consolidated sales up 0.65% on year in Q2FY2026

Balmer Lawrie Investment Ltd share price declined by 0.34% to Rs 70.77 after the company's net profit fell 14.28% to Rs 72.59 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 0.65% to Rs 751.14 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Holding Company industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 4.46 lakh crore, easing 0.57%. It has eased by 1.48% over last one week and spiked sharply by 15.10% in last one month while the market capitalization of Balmer Lawrie Investment Ltd has slipped by 0.42% and 6.95% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Balmer Lawrie Investment Ltd stood at Rs 94.62 crore in Q2 FY26, gaining 5.80% year-on-year, and plunging by 18.07% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 79 crore, improving 12.90% YoY and declining 9.43% sequentially. Total expenses saw a slight increase of 2.01% to Rs 681.61 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 495.4 crore, growing marginally by 4.13% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 69.64 crore, expanding by 8.47% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations tick up 7.59% to Rs 2526.38 crore, while net profit improved by 10.16% to Rs 266.54 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 23983% to Rs 245.58 crore, and PBT saw a minor gain of 9.64% to Rs 350.11 crore compared to previous TTM. Balmer Lawrie Investment Ltd tumbled by 16.09% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 2.83% during the same period.
