Swelect Energy Systems Ltd consolidated sales down 35.40% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit tumbled by 31.02%

Swelect Energy Systems Ltd share price softened by 1.43% to Rs 679.5 after the company's net profit plunged by 31.02% to Rs 7.65 crore, while revenue from operations dropped sharply 35.40% to Rs 130.77 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Heavy Electrical Equipment industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 12.24 lakh crore, crashing by 20.06%. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 90.32 crore, inching up 1.72% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 8.63 crore, tanking by 19.87% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations grew marginally by 5.70% to Rs 657.12 crore, while net profit surged by 311.87% to Rs 57.58 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 5453% to Rs 115.33 crore, and PBT soared 73.33% to Rs 75.57 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 95.49 crore in FY26, as against Rs 130.09 crore in FY25. Swelect Energy Systems Ltd gained 3.77% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 2.83% during the same period.
