KNR Constructions Ltd consolidated sales down 15.48% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit tumbled by 21.42%

KNR Constructions Ltd share price inched up 0.56% to Rs 134.55. The Company's net profit plunged by 21.42% to Rs 73.57 crore, while revenue from operations declined 15.48% to Rs 587.94 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Civil Construction industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 9.29 lakh crore, nosediving by 17.33%. It has softened by 0.74% over last one week and gained upto 0.56% in last one month while the market capitalization of KNR Constructions Ltd has slipped by 4.03% and 3.90% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of KNR Constructions Ltd stood at Rs 157.91 crore in Q2 FY26, gaining 9.34% year-on-year, and rallying 33.44% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 84 crore, tumbling by 46.47% YoY and tanking 43.78% sequentially. Total expenses marginally dropped 7.07% to Rs 502.21 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 174.25 crore, falling by 13.05% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 32.43 crore, inching up 0.28% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations inched higher 7.31% to Rs 4753.17 crore, while net profit soared by 39.09% to Rs 1020.61 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 105945% to Rs 1309.69 crore, and PBT witnessed a strong rise of 37.46% to Rs 1278.32 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 566.58 crore in FY26, as against Rs 297.12 crore in FY25. KNR Constructions Ltd crashed 33.75% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 2.83% during the same period.
