Foseco India acquires Vesuvius India’s Mehsana facility for Rs 43.25 crore

Foseco India Limited announced it has entered into a business transfer agreement to acquire Vesuvius India Limited’s manufacturing facility in Mehsana, Gujarat, for a lump-sum consideration of Rs 43.25 crore. The facility, which manufactures crucibles, stoppers, and sleeves for the non-ferrous industrial sector, had a turnover of Rs 5.813 crore in the financial year ended December 31, 2025, representing 2.76% of Vesuvius India Limited’s total turnover. The acquisition, expected to be completed by December 31, 2026, is considered a related party transaction as both companies are part of the Vesuvius group of companies and will strengthen Foseco India’s business by expanding its product portfolio and customer base.
