Halder Venture Limited seeks shareholder approval for borrowing powers up to Rs. 1,000 Crores

Halder Venture Limited, in a notice dated May 29, 2026, announced its upcoming Annual General Meeting to be held in Kolkata sometime in 2026. Shareholders will vote on several key resolutions, including the re-appointment of Non-Executive Non-Independent Director Poulomi Halder, whose shareholding totals 1,286,568 shares and who is the spouse of Managing Director Keshab Kumar Halder. The company is also proposing to appoint M/s P. Somani & Co., Chartered Accountants as the new statutory auditor, replacing M/s Sen & Ray, and seeks shareholder approval for an enhancement of borrowing powers up to Rs. 1,000 Crores. Additionally, shareholders will ratify the cost auditor’s remuneration of Rs. 1,00,000 plus expenses and GST, and approve Director’s commission up to 1% of net profits.
